Summer and Fall Enrollment
Enrollment for the Summer 2016 and Fall 2017 will start this coming week for our current LFF Families.  Your child’s teacher will be sending home paperwork.  Please fill out the forms and return them to your child’s teacher.  All classrooms have extra forms.  Please ask a teacher or Hope if you need extra forms to register siblings that are not currently at LFF!  The summer session will run from June 5 to August 25 (closed on July 3-7 and July 24-28).  The fall 2017 session will start on September 5.

Snow Makeup Days

LFF will be open on March 16 & 17 to make up the days of school we missed on January 9 & 10.

Inclement Weather Policy

LFF follows Greenville County Schools for inclement weather closings only.  If Greenville County Schools have a 1 or 2 hour delay we will still begin at 9:00 a.m.  As long as the roads are safe for Ms Lynn to travel, Early Stay will be available at 8:00 a.m.  You may call or text Lynn on these mornings if you have questions.  Her cell phone number is 864-525-0901.  If Greenville County Schools are closed, then Little Folks is closed.  If you have any doubt as to our status you can check the school closing list on WYFF channel 4.  If we are closed, Little Folks of Fourth will be listed under “Private Schools.”

Ms Tamara Update

Ms. Tamara’s surgery went well and she is at home resting.  There is an envelope outside Hope’s office to collect any items families want to send to her (cards, notes, gift cards, etc).

Winter Sickness

We have been fortunate to have mostly warm temperatures the month of January, but winter illnesses have still found their way to the upstate (and LFF!).  Please remember your child must be fever free and/or on antibiotics for 24 hours before returning to LFF.  Here is a copy of the 2016-2017 Parent Handbook for future reference.

Reading Suggestion

“A heart can be hopeful, or silly, or happy. A heart can be rugged, or snappy, or lonely. A heart holds every different feeling, and debut author-artist Michael Hall captures each one with a delicate touch. For each feeling, the bold, graphic artwork creates an animal out of heart shapes, from "eager as a beaver" to "angry as a bear" to "thoughtful as an owl." An accessible and beautiful debut, My Heart Is Like a Zoo is everything a classic picture book should be: honest, sincere, and speaking directly to even the very youngest child.”
