As Christís disciples, called to ministry in his name, we seek to continue his mission of teaching the truth, feeding the hungry, healing the broken, and welcoming strangers. The members of Fourth use their time, talents, and financial resources to help local, national, and international organizations show Christ's love to others.
Alternative Christmas: Fourth offers its congregation an opportunity to give donations in honor of loved ones in lieu of earthly objects for Christmas each year.
United Ministries: The Mission of United Ministries (formerly the Greenville Area
Interfaith Hospitality Network, or GAIHN) is to assist local congregations to
share hospitality, including shelter, meals, and fellowship, with homeless families that include children. The goal is to help those
families achieve self-sufficiency and self-fulfillment. United Ministries also provides life
changing opportunities and advocacy for people in our community who lack
education or employment skills or who are in financial crisis. For details on the work we need to perform, click here. Or, contact Kathy White at 864-304-1247 or firstname.lastname@example.org if you'd like to help!
Habitat for Humanity: Seeking to put Godís love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope.
Project HOST: A Greenville organization composed of a soup kitchen, culinary school, and garden that helps feed the hungry in an unusual, proactive way.
Sterling Community: Fourth Presbyterian has partnered with Christ Church Episcopal to work to help strengthen relationships in the Sterling community.
Triune Mercy Center: a non-denominational mission church that ministers alongside the homeless.
Bread for the World: Fourth financially supports Bread for the World, a collective Christian voice urging our nationís decisions makers to end hunger at home and abroad. Moved by Godís grace in Jesus Christ, we advocate for a world without hunger.
Presbyterian Disaster Assistance: Presbyterian Disaster Assistance
enables congregations and mission partners of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.)
to witness to the healing love of Christ through caring for communities
adversely affected by crises and catastrophic events. Most recently,
Dominican Republic: Senior High Youth group travels to the DR every other year to serve residents. In the summer of 2015, the contingent poured 28 concreted floors in 3 bateys, or neighborhoods.
International Mission Trip: Fourth held an adult mission trip on February 20-27, 2016 to serve the people of Guatemala.
