New to Fourth Presbyterian Church?
If you are looking to learn more about God’s work in and through the Fourth congregation, you're in the right place!
What t0 Expect in Sunday Morning Worship
Sunday worship services at Fourth Presbyterian Church are at 11:15 online and at 11:30 socially distanced in the Sanctuary. The services last approximately one hour.
Where do I park?
On Sunday mornings, worshipers are able to park in the church parking lot, on the streets surrounding the church, and across the street in the Poinsett Club parking lot. See where on the map.
What should I wear?
Visitors are sometimes concerned about what to wear. Fourth Presbyterian is a traditional church yet there is no Sunday dress code! Some men wear suits or jackets and ties, some wear khakis. Some women wear dresses, some wear slacks. Just dress comfortably but respectfully.
If you have children...
***Childcare is temporarily unavailable and is expected to resume at the start of our Fall church school year. Please continue to check back for updates. ***
Children of all ages are welcome and encouraged to participate in worship services. Ages 3-5 are in worship through the Time with Children. Worship packs for preschool and elementary children may be found near the front door. Ushers are available to help you. After the Time with Children, preschoolers (3-5) may leave as a group under the guidance of a caring adult leader for extended care during the second part of the service.
Church school classes
Church school classes for adults are currently offered both online and in-person in a hybrid format from 9:00-9:50 on Sunday mornings. Nursery care is not currently available. The nursery, pre-school, elementary, and junior high rooms are on the lower floor of the building. Rooms for senior high students and adults are located on the main floor. A church host is available in the Friendship Area just outside of the office. This area is also where you will find a special wall display featuring the current adult class offerings.
While this website is a great place to start, the best way to learn about Fourth is by sharing in our worship, fellowship, study, and mission. In this way you will gain a sense of whether God is leading you to become a member of the Fourth family.
